Whether it be sight casting to cobia and red drum, or enjoying a sunset cruise in the Chesapeake Bay, King Tide Charters, the newest of the Chesapeake Bay fishing charters, is the perfect destination to explore the waters of Virginia Beach and tap into the incredible fishing right at our feet!
King Tide Charters specializes in sight fishing in the lower Chesapeake Bay and near shore waters of the Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Virginia Beach. Primary targets are cobia and red drum, but other species such as spadefish, Spanish mackerel, and black drum are also available when the conditions do not permit sight fishing. Aside from the breeder-sized red drum, all of the fish we target make great table fare and will be cleaned and ready to prepare once back at the dock!
All charter fishing and boat cruises take place on The King Tide, a 2014 25' C-Hawk powered with a four-stroke 225 horsepower Suzuki outboard engine. This bay boat offers great maneuverability and quick turns to optimize the chances at connecting with the fish in sight.
